Has evolved over the years through the development of numerous properties both within and outside of the Mantis Group. The increasing number of enquiries both locally and abroad, which is a testament to the strength of the Mantis brand and reputation, eventuated in the establishment of a stand-alone business tailored specifically to addressing these enquiries.
Mantis Development was formed to offer the full suite of development services to complement the hospitality, wildlife, sales and marketing capabilities already available within the Group. Mantis Development can therefore offer Clients a truly unique world class "one stop" service, taking a project from conception/feasibility through to planning, detailed design, construction, and eventually onto operation and marketing.
Structure
The structure of Mantis Development is tailored to the specific nature and demographics of the inquiries we have received so as to ensure we are in the best position possible to undertake such projects. Representative offices are located in South Africa, UK, Seychelles, USA, India and Germany. These offi ces give us the required geographic spread to focus on our key markets of southern Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands and Europe. Mantis Development through its representative offices is capable of undertaking projects across the globe.
Philosophy
The Mantis Group's underlying philosophy is one of responsible and ecologically sensitive development, supporting the local environment through community development projects and conservation of resources. This way of working is refl ected in the company namesake's lifestyle – the Praying Mantis, a tiny insect with an uncanny ability to survive in even the harshest conditions by seemingly having the utmost respect for its surroundings.
